Become a VolunCHEER!
With over 20,000 runners expected to hit the streets of Belfast, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunCHEERS to jump, cheer and clap to help support the amazing runners who will be aiming to raise money for Action Mental Health at the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon!
The Belfast City Marathon takes place on Sunday 5th May and as a cheer volunteer, you will be at the heart of all the action. All you have to do bring your loudest voice and lots of enthusiasm for our AMH station - we’ll provide the music, craic and cheering materials.
Become a Water Station Volunteer!
You can also join us with operating our Water Station on Ormeau Road (close to entrance to Ormeau Park). This is a unique and fun opportunity to see elite runners up close and personal while encourage the runners and handing out bottles of water.
Water Station volunteers will receive:
Training prior to the event
An official Belfast City Marathon rain jacket and t-shirt
Snack pack to enjoy while on duty
Complimentary hot food and refreshments at Ormeau Park at the end of the event
