Volunteer

Main Tasks

• Facilitate Service Users to and from group, where appropriate.
• Ensuring careful supervision at all times.
• Report any incidents immediately to Parent Support Worker.
• To attend training where relevant and appropriate.
• Assist with preparation and serving of meals.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning of room, assist with preparation and delivery of group.
• Ensure safety of children at all times.

Criteria

Essential

• Have a genuine interest in working with children and young people 
• Have a caring and sensitive attitude in relation to the children and young people to whom you will provide a service
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Be flexible to the needs of the support group to include availability at required times

Desirable

• Previous work / volunteering experience of working with children and/or young people

Please note the working pattern for this role will be from 11am - 2pm on a Friday morning every fortnight. There may be times dependent on the program that the group will run in concurrent weeks.
