Vocational Mentor (Business Centre) – Orchardville

Orchardville is a registered charity under the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. We have been supporting people with Learning Disabilities and / or Autism in employment in Belfast for over 35 years. Founded in 1982 by a group of parents and carers who sought a more challenging alternative to Day Centres, Orchardville has continued to grow geographically and the services offered have developed and expanded substantially over the years.

Salary: £16,871 per annum + 7% non-contributory pension scheme (after qualifying period).

Hours: 35 per week (Monday - Friday 9am - 4.30pm)

Location: 144 - 152 Ravenhill Road, Belfast

This post is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and will be offered on a maternity cover basis until approximately July 2019. 

The post-holder will:

Oversee design and print production processes within the Business Centre, whilst mentoring participants with a learning disability or autism in the use of office/production equipment; enhancing their employability and supporting opportunities for progression
