To deliver training, workshops and information sessions to kinship carers, and develop a network of support, including support groups and family recreation for kinship carers and their children.

Fixed term, funded until the 29th October 2020 at 37.5 hours per week (then subject to funding).

Salary £21,111 per annum.

Based in Derry/Londonderry but will involve travelling to other parts of Northern Ireland.

  • A recognised qualification in health and social care, community development or related field (Minimum NVQ Level II or equivalent.
  • Give GCSEs (minimum) at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Maths.
  • Proven work experience working with vulnerable/disadvantaged children, young people and/or families.
  • Proven work experience delivering education/training programmes in the community.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • A current driving licence with access to a car. (Can be waived in the case of applicants who disability prohibits driving, but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements).
  • IT skills.
