Team Leader - Belfast

As part of the Living Options services, the Team Leader will enable clients who have learning/physical disabilities and associated conditions, to pursue a valued lifestyle by supporting them with personal care as well as with social, emotional, spiritual and daily activity needs.

The Team Leader will mentor and supervise the Support Team and will work on the rota on an as required basis that includes unsociable hours and weekends.

Hours:               30 hours per week Team Leader

Contract:          Permanent

Location:          Living Options services in Belfast

Salary:             3 point spine point commencing on £10.08 per hour as of 1st April 2019 (plus sleep in expenses if required)

Essential Criteria:                  

• Numerate and literate with ability to set up and maintain accurate records, handle clients finances, and compile reports.   
• NVQ 3 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent or willing to attain a Level 3 QCF qualification.
• Demonstrable evidence of 1 years experience working with people in a care/support capacity (within the last 2 years).
• Two years’ previous experience in a human services setting providing support/care.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• Experience of working in partnership with service users, parents, health care professionals, carers, advocates and other agencies
• Good working knowledge of IT, specifically Microsoft Word & Outlook.
