Service Co-ordinator
Action for Children, Northern Ireland
Waterside Surestart is funded by the Department of Education to provide a range of play and early learning, family support and health services to children from pre-birth up to four years old and their families.
As Surestart Co-ordinator, your role will be to lead a multi-disciplinary team of early years practitioners, family support workers, speech and language therapist and midwifery services. By managing, leading and supervising your large staff team, you will ensure that Waterside Surestart delivers a high quality, customer focused services to the children and families that attend the service.

By applying Action for Children's professional practice standards
By establishing relationships and links within the community to assist children and their families.
What you'll need:
A third level qualification in Early years, Nursing or Social work or related qualification
Relevant and recent experience working within a Family Support setting
Excellent communication skills, including IT
Ability to work unsupervised, using your own initiative to problem solve
Flexible working arrangements
Registered with NISCC or willing to register
The job requires the ability to travel according to the needs of the job, with reasonable adjustments, if required, according to the Equality Act.
