Senior Support Worker

We’re a complex, challenging group of Deaf people who live across the Derry/Londonderry/Omagh area. We’re all very different and our interests are varied such as going to the woods for walks, bowling, swimming, shopping, going to church, supported to access therapeutic work, going to the theatre or cinema, playing pool/snooker, bus/train trips.

Many things are important to us, including communicating with us, our independence, our privacy, our family/friends and honesty.

The support we need to help us get the most out of our day is as varied as we are.

But whether you’re helping us communicate with others more fully, supporting us with our daily living needs, household tasks, going to the bank, supporting us to understand our benefits, you’ll help us get the most out of life. If you are fun, friendly, adaptable and imaginative, you’ll help us all feel safe, secure and fulfilled.
