The post holder will lead and develop a personal development, good relations and citizenship project, 'Transform', which is supported by the EU's Peace IV Programme managed by SEUPB.

Job Description:

  1. To contribute to the development of the Transformative Education for Positive Relationships Project (Transform Project) through the design, implementation and delivery of the work plan.  The project will deliver three clear outcomes Personal Development, Good Relations & Citizenship.  Geographical areas to be targeted will include Antrim, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone, Derry/Londonderry, Armagh, Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Donegal.
  1. To manage and co-ordinate the Transform Project including line management of the project staff.
  1. To lead and facilitate a team of project staff:
  • involved in the design, planning and delivery of Transform Project for young people not in education, employment and training;
  • liaising and working in partnership with Youth Initiatives and Mencap to ensure the project aim, objectives and outcomes are successfully met.
  1. To facilitate regular meetings of the Project Partnership Management Team (PPMT).
  1. To ensure the strategic development of the project and to report on its delivery and outcomes. 
  1. To keep sustainable lines of communication open to PPMT and to ensure that ongoing recommendations and proposals are implemented.
