Part-time Employment Officer - Orchardville

Orchardville is a registered charity under the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.  We have been supporting people with Learning Disabilities and / or Autism in employment in Belfast for over 35 years.  Founded in 1982 by a group of parents and carers who sought a more challenging alternative to Day Centres, Orchardville has continued to grow geographically and the services offered have developed and expanded substantially over the years.

Salary:  £8037.60 per annum (rising to £8,198 after successful probationary period)

Hours:  14 hour per week (2 days per week 9am - 4.30pm, preferably Monday & Thursday however other days may be considered.)

Location:  Based in our Belfast office, covering the SEHSCT and BHSCT areas.

The post-holder will:

Engage with employers and support participants with Learning Disability and / or Autism on our Ignite2 project to secure and sustain paid or voluntary employment opportunities. Using the supported employment model, you will deliver a tailored programme that will guide the participant's progression towards their agreed employability goals.
