The Organisation:

The Welcome Organisation is delighted to be recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant in Belfast. The role is for a medium sized organisation that is looking to strengthen it’s Accounts department. The position of Part Qualified Accountant in this organisation offers an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to develop their career. 

The Candidate:

• A minimum of 2 years working in a busy accountancy firm
• A qualified / part qualified accountant
• Degree educated in Accountancy or related discipline

The Role: 

• Preparation of year end accounts making use of Sage account packages.
• Produce and present monthly management accounts
• Support the year-end audit process
• Support the development of the annual budget
• Manage bank reconciliations 
• Oversee Cash flow management and ad hoc business projects / reports
• Preparation of salaries
• Develop relationships with customers to enable timely submission of information and query resolution 
• Strong desire to develop lean services 
• To actively assist with the training of staff

The Requirements :

• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads and work to agreed deadline 
• Committed and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficient in the use of Sage, Iris and Excel (or similar packages)
• Committed to core values and good practice ways of working

The Remuneration :  £24k per annum

 The position is full time permanent – subject to 6 month probationary period
