LOCUM/CASUAL SUPPORT WORKERS

Reporting to the Homeless Services Manager, you will be based, depending on need, out of our Homeless Services Centres at Roseville House and Moyard House, both situated in Belfast.

Our Locum/Casual staff provide accommodation and support services to homeless families in a temporary accommodation setting on an adhoc basis when additional or emergency staff cover is required. You are responsible for delivering a wide range of high-quality customer focused support services to our service users, in furtherance of delivering the Association’s core objectives.

The successful applicant is likely to have the following:

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including English & Maths;
• A minimum 1 years’ experience in the past 5 years working with vulnerable groups in a similar environment;
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills;
• Be IT literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite.

 Benefits include:

• Salary £8.75 per hour (Under Review);
• 22 days annual leave moving to 27 after 5 years’ service and 32 days after 10 years’ service; (Annual leave entitlement is based on the number of actual hours worked and is paid in lieu of leave taken);
