Listen Share Change is delivered in partnership with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. It is a volunteer-led, innovative, shared reading programme based in the community that uses poetry and prose to engage with a range of constituent groups.

The Listen Share Change– Volunteer Co-ordinator Belfast will be responsible for the development, management, and implementation of a volunteer training programme. The programme is volunteer-led and delivered at community level. The focus of the programme is on using quality literature to engage with older people and young people at community level.

The Listen Share Change Volunteer Co-ordinator will work as part of a team of project workers and oversee the quality, training and volunteer management of the project.   The ideal candidate will

•    Support the Listen Share Change team in delivering a community cohesion programme
•    Engaging with volunteers to develop and enhance the future development of the Listen Share Change Programme. 

Within that context he/she will be expected to work closely with the management team and on their own initiative.

This post will be based in Belfast and cover the surrounding areas.
