Leader of the Corrymeela Community
Corrymeela Community
Corrymeela is an ecumenical Christian Community committed to reconciliation founded in 1965. It is involved in peace building, reconciliation and social justice affairs primarily, but not exclusively, in Northern Ireland. As part of our work we operate a residential centre in Ballycastle Co Antrim. Our mission is to Transform Division Through Human Encounter, and we seek to appoint a Leader who will sustain and develop this.
Purpose of the Position:
- To be the Leader of a 170 strong inclusive ecumenical Christian Community of reconciliation; supporting and developing Corrymeela’s public work and witness by leading and developing our exploration and practice of public theology and reconciliation.
- To provide Strategic Leadership — in collaboration with the Executive Director — on the vision and direction of Corrymeela’s work and witness.
Interviews will be held on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th of March 2019.
