Early Years Worker

Permanent

20 hours per week

Monday – Saturday

 (£7.83 per hour)

Job Purpose: 

Bangor Sure Start is currently seeking to recruit an Early Years worker. The ideal candidate will be able to provide a range of coordinated services to families with children pre-birth up to the age of 4 years.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum of QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification or:

• NVQ Level 3 in any of the following:
• Children’s Care, Learning & Development, Childcare and Education, Caring for Children and Young People, Early Years Care and Education, Play work
• NNEB Level 3 Diploma in Nursery Nursing
• CACHE Level 3 Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Child Care & Education
• BTEC National Diploma /Higher National Diploma in Childhood Studies
• Degree in Early Years Education/ Early Childhood Studies

Other Essential Criteria to Include:

• Minimum of 6 months paid employment working in an early years setting
• Good level of written and oral communication
• Full driving licence and access to transport/access to transport to meet role requirements
