Start360 is recruiting a full-time, fixed-term Keyworker for the Connections service. This role is based in Ballymena and will cover the Northern HSCT area.

Base:        Ballymena

Remit:       Northern HSCT Area

Contract:  Fixed-term, covering maternity until May 2019

Salary:      NJC Points 26 – 29 (£23,398 - £25,951)

 

The PHA has funded a Community Alcohol and Drugs Information and Networking Service in each HSCT locality, which acts as the operational arm of the local DACT. Connections is open to the entire population of the HSCT area and delivered by Start360 in the Northern and Southern trust areas.

Keyworkers work closely with the PHA and local DACT to develop and deliver of an integrated education and prevention plan to raise awareness of the impact of drugs and alcohol locally.

 

  • The successful applicant for the post will be subject to an Access NI check.
  • A waiting list (valid for 12 months) will be drawn up from the interviews for any similar vacancies that may arise in the future.
  • All posts with Start360 are 37 hours per week (unless otherwise stated) and will include evening work and occasional weekends, which will be paid on a TOIL basis.
