Action Cancer is a local Northern Ireland charity - all our money is raised to provide services for local communities. Our team of staff and volunteers work across Northern Ireland helping to save lives and support people affected by cancer.
Overall Responsibility
- To maintain and manage a network of volunteer fundraising support groups throughout NI, manage income expectations and targets and report regularly on the overall performance of each group.
- Engage Community Groups to support core Action Cancer fundraising campaigns, including, Paint the Town Pink, Christmas cards and Easter baskets.
- Ultimate responsibility is to assist in maximising on-going income through nurturing relationships, encouraging good practice and providing timely and quality administrative and practical support
- To agree and implement a three year strategy that will increase the number of support groups by adding five new groups over the next three years
- Whilst the post is largely office based, attending group events will also be required.
