Carrick Chargers Special Olympics Club is a basketball club that is currently recruiting volunteers to fill a number of general roles on a Monday evening from 7:30pm to 9pm in Carrickfergus Leisure Centre.

A general volunteer role will cover a number of tasks including: equipment set up and tear down; registration and welcoming athletes and volunteers; inducting new volunteers; supervision of athletes during activities; and serving refreshments. Therefore, no previous experience is required for this role.

All new volunteers will receive a general induction in the club before they start their role and will be offered additional training on an ongoing basis.

Special Olympics Ulster is a sports organisation providing sports training and competition to over 2000 athletes with an intellectual disability across Ulster. Special Olympics Ulster is offering you the chance to make a real difference to the lives of our athletes by becoming one of the team.
