The College wishes to appoint a Business Support Unit Manager within the Curriculum Operations and Planning Services team.

The post holder will support the Head of for Curriculum Operations and Planning Services by ensuring that the administration and support function of College’s curriculum provision reflects the strategic direction and mission of the College.

The department for Curriculum Operations and Planning Services has an establishment of approximately 80 staff across a wide range of curriculum support functions. These include student data management information, campus admin support, curriculum admin support and timetabling.

The role will include management and planning of the administration and support services of both allocated academic departments and campus administration.

What you need:

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge

  • EITHER Hold a relevant degree (level 6 qualification) PLUS have two years’ recent experience of managing a busy administration office or equivalent to include extensive people management

OR

Hold a relevant level 4 qualification (HNC or equivalent) PLUS 3 years’ experience of managing a busy administration office or equivalent to include extensive people management.

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering a quality service in a customer focused environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of the management and utilisation of reporting from information systems.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a quality standards working environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in and operating business plans in a departmental/business unit.
  • Demonstrable experience of assisting with setting and managing departmental/business unit budgets.
