Business Development Manager
Rural Housing Association
Our new Business Development Manager will act as a lead on innovation and champion commercially astute and evidence-based opportunities for business development. They will work closely with external stakeholders including rural communities throughout Northern Ireland, identifying locally relevant and exciting opportunities for the Association which will expand our development remit and help us meet the needs of rural communities and our customers.
As a leader in community development the successful applicant will also manage the development of our shared housing schemes, fostering partnerships with a variety of organisations to help achieve positive community development outcomes.
Essential Criteria includes:
- Relevant third level qualification with 3 years proven community relations/business development experience OR a minimum of 5 years proven community relations/business development experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience of working on a funded programme with a proven track record in formulating and delivering programmes to performance targets, budget and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
- A proven track record in successfully negotiating effectively with stakeholders, to ensure successful partnerships and positive solutions to problems.
- Full valid driver’s licence and access to a car for work or can demonstrate suitable alternative means of travel to meet the mobility requirements of this post
