Assistant Childcare Manager Part Time. Up to £11 per hour depending on experience

Do you like to sing? Doesn’t have to be tuneful

Are you able to climb trees or roll down hills if needed?

Can you manage a laptop without throwing it out the window on a bad day?

Are you fab at motivating a team of adults as well as kids?

Have you at least two years experience in a daycare setting in a supervisor position?

Essential Criteria

Minimum of QCF level 5  in Leadership for Children’s care Learning and Development or working towards; Degree in nursing or childcare studies or similar.

Experience in an Assistant Manager/Manager role in a day-care setting;

Experience supervising a childcare room;

Statuary Training up to date.

Exceptional Organisational Skills;

Knowledge of ICT packages;

A flexible approach to working hours;

Ability to lead and work as part of a team.

The post holder will be required to supervise the fun room and /or mobile creche within the day-care service; and to be responsible for the day to day operations of the venue in partnership with the day-care Manager. The post holder will carry out the managerial function in the absence of the Manager.
