The Next Chapter Programme, Information Session in Larne
NICVA
This exciting new Peace IV funded project, invites women (18+ years) from all over Northern Ireland and the border counties in the Republic of Ireland to take part in a women's empowerment programme. The Next Chapter project aims to improve the representation of women in public and political life and contribute to a more gender-sensitive society. This is an initiative to engage with women and support them developing their ideas, contribute to communities and support the transition out of conflict. Participants will have the opportunity to access our capacity building programme of skills for participation in politics and public life, one to one coaching and mentoring session, engagement in networking and peace and reconciliation events, policy focus groups, and more.
This programme is led by Politics Plus in conjunction with Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) and Irish Rural Link. It is supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

This course will provide an introduction to the role domestic scale renewable technologies can play in reducing carbon emissions. It is suitable for those who need to understand the basics of evaluation, and those who need to enhance their skills in analysing and reporting data to be able to tell their story. The programme is split into 3 sessions, and you can choose to attend online or in person - you can attend an individual session or all 3 depending on your knowledge and experience.- - -
