Counselling All Nations Services (CANS)

This is a free event
The Board of Counselling All Nations Services (CANS) would like to invite you to the launch of CANS Strategic Plan 2018 - 2022 on Tuesday 13th March, 6 – 7.30pm in Chinese Welfare Association 1 Stranmillis Embankment, Belfast BT7 1GB

Counselling All Nations Services (CANS) was originally established in September 2013 in response to a clearly identified need for culturally-specific counselling for people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in Northern Ireland.

CANS exists to support and promote the mental health and emotional well-being of people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities through the provision of culturally appropriate, high quality and accessible counselling.

Our VISION is to improve and enhance the quality of life for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic individuals and communities.

You are welcome to join us for the launch of our strategic plan on 13th March. At this event we will present our plans for the future and outline how we hope to develop and improve our services. Since we started work we have witnessed significant increases in the number of people of different cultures living and working in Northern Ireland and in their needs for counselling and related support services.

This work is both urgent and important and we invite you to join us as we embark on the next stage of our journey providing quality and highly valued psychological therapies to the BAME community in Northern Ireland.
