Mentors can support our marketers of the future by utilising industry knowledge and experience. They can offer support, advice and encouragement by enabling a mentee to think differently, helping mentees to understand that attitudes and behaviours could impact career performance. Mentoring can help you gain a greater understanding of the support marketers want, and using coaching methods you can help develop your own employees as well as improve your leadership skills. Especially in not for profit sector, a mentor for a marketer can reduce feelings of isolation, as often people in this sector are the only marketer in their organisation.

node/121827
/event/fog-srebrenica-special-screening
Special Screening of Fog of Srebrenica Just 23 short years ago, in a part of Europe a three hour flight away, more than 8,000 boys and men were killed in a slaughter that was to become known as the Srebrenica genocide. It took less than a week to rob so many of their lives; and to rob so many of their loved ones of their life as they knew it. We remember the genocide because of the victims and their families, because it is right to remember, because it was in Europe during most of our lifetimes, and because it could happen again – it is happening again. At 6pm on Sunday 8th July come along to the Crescent Arts Centre to watch the documentary film Fog of Srebrenica and take part in a short panel discussion afterwards about the genocide, dealing with the past and building a better future in Bosnia and here.
