Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

YHANI works in the local communities of our hostels. There we aim to secure funding and run educational programmes that support young people and get them involved in the conservation of nature. We run local and international volunteering schemes, etc.

Our mission is to support the local communities around our hostels. We focus on young people and their education/training and their involvement in the conservation of the countryside.

We work with local and international volunteers who support our work.

We are also offering awards programmes such as: John Muir Award, Gaisce Bronze Challenge

YHANI was formed in 1931 to provide accomodation for those travelling through the Ulster countryside. We are affiliated to the Hostelling International with more than 70 National Youth Hostel Associations in more than 80 countries which have over 4,000 affiliated hostels around the world. YHANI currently has 4 hostels across the province at Belfast, Whitepark Bay, Bushmills, and Armagh.
