We are seeking to recruit a small team of both paid & volunteer Assistant Directors
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Responsibilties:
- Attend auditions and offer input when required on casting decisions.
- Attend rehearsals and offer input when required on staging choices.
- Lead smaller rehearsals to help actors to solidify their performances.
- Run lines with actors.
- Help manage the rehearsal schedule.
- Liaise with Producers and Stage Managers on prop and costume requirements.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Hard working and enthusiastic.
- Good time management and punctual.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Patient and supportive with actors.
- Available throughout the rehearsal and show delivery period.
Desirable
- Confident working with large groups.
- Previous experience of directing for performance.
- Knowledge of Derry/Londonderry.
