Playtime Day Nursery, Playgroup and Out of Schools Club

Playtime Day Nursery, Playgroup &  Out of Schools Club is situated in the rural community of Eskra. We are a non-profit organisation, with a voluntary board of directors from the local  community and parents. We are also a registered charity. 


Our aim is to provide a happy and safe environment where all children can develop to their full potential. The programmes encourage children to learn through play, encourage physical  active and a healthy lifestyle.  Playtime believe that our parents are paying  for a high quality service, therefore t.v. programmes are only available to children over 3 years old, and only on special occasions or for a specific educational purpose. 


We aim to provide day-care and play  opportunities in a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 12 years, regardless of their religion, cultural or financial  backgrounds.  We recognise that children and their families have a wide range  of needs. We aim to help and assist families where possible, and our staff are  experienced and highly trained in many areas of special and additional needs.

Playtime has a large registration of  116 however we ensure that no child is 'lost in the crowd' and that they receive the personal service they deserve, so each child is assigned a key person. This is a  'special someone' who 'looks out for your child' tending to their personal needs and forming an important healthy attachment to allow your child to feel  safe, happy and secure in their surroundings. This person also is the  important contact for you, as the parent/carer to find out about your child's progress.
