Lagan Legacy

The Belfast Barge is home to a maritime museum and a performance space.  We are owned and operated by the charity Lagan Legacy.  The maritime museum tells the history of the Belfast Harbour through authentic aretfacts and oral history recordings.  As part of the museum we run an award-winning adult outreach and school education programme.  We also host a theatre space where we run a wide variety of events and can be used for private parties.  We rely on volunteer support to help run the museum daily and to assist with evening events.  The barge is dedicated to supporting our volunteers and encouraging both their personal and professional development.
