Home-Start Lisburn/Colin

Home-Start supports families by offering weekly volunteer support in the home, weekly Family Group, courses and outings.

We support families who are  isolated, parents living with post natal depression, illness or disability.We support children's development, help families access services, support parents dealing with challenging behaviours, or break up of last term relationships or families who have experienced domestic violence. Also families with several pre-school children or multiple births.

Volunteers offer support, friendship and practical help to families in their own home. Family Group provides a morning of activities for parents to enjoy with their child/children.  We also offer courses and outings to families.
