Galbally Youth & Community Association

GYCA has been at the forefront of community, social and economic regeneration in the area and continually strive to improve the quality of life for local rural dwellers.  One of our core functions is to manage and maximise Galbally Community Centre as a key asset in encouraging and facilitating local community development.  GYCA has always strived to address issues such as poverty, disadvantage and inequality in the local community.  GYCA has supported the development of other key interest groups in the local community and provides direct support to them in the delivery of their services.  We continually engage with the wider community to ascertain local need and endeavour to meet these needs through a variety of bespoke programmes and activities.  GYCA has always worked in partnership with other key statutory and community and voluntary sector organisations in maximising opportunities for local rural dwellers to address quality of life issues.  Our mission is to create a vibrant, sustainable and peaceful rural community which enriches the lives of all its residents.
