Focus Photography Academy

We deliver short training programmes of six-week duration to community groups in order to foster good relations and mutual understanding. Our training is delivered in the community group's premises and on location in a friendly but effective manner. We ensure all our course participants finish the training having learned a new skill that will give a lifetime of enjoyment but also that they develop a greater understanding of other participants' cultural background and opinions.  In order to stimulate maximum participation in our courses the ideal group size is 10 participants but slightly larger or smaller groups can be facilitated.

6. Stimulating Still-Life

Our courses normally follow a theme which is worked into a small project that all participants are encouraged to contribute to.

We can also deliver training in image manipulation and old photograph scanning and repair where community groups have suitable computer facilities.

Good relations and community development activities may attract funding from your local district council.  As funding deadlines are approaching rapidly we suggest you contact your local council to explore their various funding opportunities.

We are keen to develop our portfolio of programmes to other geographic areas.  Although we are based in Ballymena we are happy to travel to about a 30 mile radius.
