Elim Nursing Homes

The Elim Pentecostal Church being concerned about the local people in the community in which we work and worship, acquired Hockley in 1988 and Lisadian Private Nursing home in 1992. As an extended outreach and a ministry of the Elim Church, to provide an efficient, non-acute care unit for all its frail and elderly community, regardless of their religious beliefs.

It is our sincere objective to provide a happy, homely, non-clinical and non-institutionalised atmosphere, thus giving support, security and assistance to elderly people who for various reasons are no longer capable of coping either alone or with help in their own environment.   We would endeavour to encourage residents to lead and maintain a normal life as possible, maintaining personal dignity, independence and individuality. This will involve physical, emotional and spiritual help.
