Northern Ireland’s first community-owned solar energy enterprise recently launched a public Community Share offer. The share offer was made possible through the support of the Community Shares, Ready programme.

Co-operative Alternatives is keen to hear from communities, organisations and campaigners interested in launching a community shares offer among their supporters. We are now accepting applications to the “Community Shares: Get ready!” project.

The Building Change Trust and Co-Operative Alternatives are taking the next step in bringing community shares to Northern Ireland.
