Volunteers for MARC Project Drop-In

The Drop-In volunteers role includes: listening, encouraging, challenging, supporting clients and getting involved with activities and cooking under the guidance of MARC staff. An Access NI check is required. Travel expenses will be included.

The MARC Project support adults with addictions to alcohol and substances. The main purpose of the role is to provide a secure, welcoming and comfortable environment where adults with addictions can feel welcome and be valued. Drop-In opening times are: Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri 10:30-13:00 and Wed 17:00-20:30.


 Set up the rooms as appropriate, make tea/coffee, replenish condiments as required, ensure work surfaces are kept clean, assist in the preparation and serving of food, clearing up. Listen to, befriend and accept all the clients attending the Drop In.  Participate in activities as appropriate.  Encourage, challenge and support under the guidance of MARC staff.
