MACS Supporting Young People is a Charity who are dedicated to helping young people 16 - 25 who have not had a fair deal in life.

Our vision is: LIFE IS GR8 FOR YOUNG PEOPLE.

MACS Supporting Young People is inviting tenders from suitably qualified organizations or individuals for the evaluation of:

MET (MACS Education & Training) Programme:

MET (MACS Education & Training) is a training programme for Young People between 16-21 years who are Care experienced. The course runs for 10 weeks (10 hours per week) and is interactive, fun and innovative.  It covers personal awareness, team building, and communication, looking after yourself, employability & essential skills with a one week work placement

The evaluation aims would be to evaluate the following:

• The need for this type of service for Young people who have been identified as NEET.
• The value of the programme to its participants and to the MACS Organisation.
• To analysis the soft and hard outcomes from the programme on its participants
• The impact of this type of service on its participants and the value of this service to MACS.
• The distance travelled by each young person within the programme.

This programme is funded by Department of Employment and Learning under the Collaboration & Innovation Fund
