Belfast and Lisburn Women’s Aid works to tackle domestic violence against women and children.

Belfast and Lisburn Women’s Aid works to tackle domestic violence against women and children.

Our aim is to eliminate domestic violence and to challenge the attitudes and beliefs which perpetuate it, and our work is underpinned by an ethos of self-help and mutual support, for women, with women, by women.

We are seeking Voluntary Directors to join a diverse and committed Management Committee working co-operatively at governance and strategic level.  The Management Committee consists of women from a range of backgrounds with diverse skills and experience, who are working to meet challenges and opportunities in a changing environment.

A commitment to the ethos, aims and objectives of Belfast and Lisburn Women’s Aid and an understanding of the dynamics and impact of domestic violence is essential.

We strive to create a diverse and inclusive organization and welcome applications from ALL women.
