Involving Older People as Volunteers Training

This FREE training workshop, facilitiated by the Unlocking Potential Project, covers a wide range of volunteer management issues relevant to the support of older volunteers. Courses being held in Belfast, Dungannon, Ballymena and Derry/Londonderry.

  • How to identify and overcome potential barriers to volunteering faced by older people
  • Good practice in the recruitment and retention of older volunteers
  • Group Volunteering
  • Information on current research into older people and volunteering
  • Support that the Unlocking Potential Project could offer your organisation

This is a free course and lunch will be provided on the day.
