Charity project for young people needs your vote!

A Therapeutic Counselling Project run by Belfast Central Mission (BCM) is asking the general public to visit the NetMums website and place a vote for them.

The project for young people (aged 16-25) who have been in care is the only project from Ireland nominated to receive a cash sum from Sport Relief in an online poll set to run this month.

A total of five Sport Relief funded projects will be featured on the NetMums website and a grand total of £200,000 of cash will be on offer to be shared between them according to their votes. BCM’s Therapeutic Counselling is already guaranteed at least £10,000 (the lowest prize available), but hope that if as many people as possible vote for them they could net themselves one of the £100,000, £50,000, £25,000 or £15,000 prizes also up for grabs.

A cash award such as this would assist the projects’ work immensely and see them able to help many more young people in need.

Voting starts on Monday March 5th and runs for two weeks only.
