Add years to your life!

World Health Day is this Saturday 7 April 2012. This year’s theme is ageing and health and with good health adding years to your life the Yoga Fellowship of Northern Ireland (YFNI) aims to do its part for you.

Get ready for a weekend with a difference...

YFNI is delighted Rowan Cobelli, a noted yogi from England, is returning to Northern Ireland to lead what promises to be a wonderful weekend of relaxation, restoration and exploration through yoga at Drumalis Retreat Centre (Larne) Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April 2012.

The weekend is suitable for anyone with an interest in yoga, from someone who practises in a class once a week to the keen practitioner or those who teach.  Rowan Cobelli’s style will ensure the weekend is accessible to everyone, whatever their ability or expertise.

The weekend will be packed with interesting yoga tips and techniques; it will help identify and activate various muscles in the body with a view to exploring their presence in the asanas (yoga postures).  It will look at ways of using prana (the breath) to augment movement and deepen attention and there will be time to meditate, relax and share your yoga with others.

When Rowan visited Belfast in Spring 2011 the day really hit the spot for the lucky ones who attended...one person who benefitted said:

"I have never been so deeply relaxed in all my life as I was at the end of the morning, and I thought I knew something about relaxation!  It was as if my whole being relaxed.”

So if you’re ‘staycationing’ in 2012 but still want a break where you’ll feel so much younger, relaxed, refreshed and energised try YFNI’s weekend with a difference - Drumalis 2012.
