Youth Worker

Roe Valley Residents Association has been operating for over 15 years creating opportunities and innovative community led programmes to local residents residing within the Limavady area.  We wish to invite applications for:

YOUTH WORKER 

NJC Scale 6 

Spinal Point 28

30 hours per week

If successful, the Youth Worker will have responsibility for the planning, delivery and monitoring of a youth led programme including the development of a range of youth interventions focused on building good relations, personal and social development and citizenship.

Key Criteria include:

• Degree holder in Youth Work (or in a related field) or working towards a youth degree or related field
• 3 years experience in facilitating informal learning and development
• Experience of working on good relations programmes
• Experience of recruitment and engagement of young people onto programmes
• Experience of individual needs assessment and co-design/co-delivery of appropriate interventions
