Streetbeat Youth Project in partnership with YEHA Project require experienced, skilled & committed Youth Workers to work with young people in North Belfast to support their learning, skills & personal development through our new ASPIRE project.

The ‘ASPIRE to succeed’ Project is a partnership project involving Streetbeat Youth Project and YEHA Youth Project. The aim of 'ASPIRE To Succeed' project is to provide tailored support for young people aged 13 - 18 at risk of becoming detached from mainstream education and drifting into the group classified as not in education employment or training (NEET). The project will offer a range of supports to young people, Services will include a programme of focused group work, training, mentoring and life coaching, with the aim of providing young people with motivation, a sense of purpose, the skills to address barriers and issues that they encounter, and systems to support each other.

 

The ‘Youth Support Worker’ will support the delivery of the project and will be line managed by full time ‘Youth Empowerment Worker’.

The Youth Support Worker will be experienced, skilled and passionate about working with young people, schools and communities to support learning and development.

 

All posts are fixed term contracts until 2022. One Youth Support Worker will be based at Streetbeat premises and one at YEHA premises.
