Newhill Youth & Community Centre are recruting for a Youth Support Worker.
The Youth Support Worker is be responsible for the delivery of key aspects of the unit programmes and the Implementation of ELB/organizational policies.
Job purpose: To work directly with young people to develop their personal and social Education by providing a programme of activities. This post is for staff appointed to undertake key duties, under the direction of a worker-in-charge.

Essential Criteria
- At least OCN Level 3 in Youth and Community
- At least 1 years experience (gained within the last 5 years) of working in a project management / coordinating capacity within a similar setting.
- Ability to motivate, lead and work as part of a team.
- Ability to manage the complex workloads of staff and to plan and prioritise work.
- Knowledge of the issues that affect disadvantaged communities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours.
