YEHA Project in partnership with Streetbeat Youth Project require experienced, skilled & committed Youth Workers to work with young people in North Belfast to support their learning, skills & personal development through our new ASPIRE project

The ‘ASPIRE to succeed’ Project is a partnership project involving Streetbeat Youth Project and YEHA Youth Project. The aim of 'ASPIRE To Succeed' project is to provide tailored support for young people aged 13 - 18 at risk of becoming detached from mainstream education and drifting into the group classified as not in education employment or training (NEET). The project will offer a range of supports to young people, Services will include a programme of focused groupwork, training, mentoring and life coaching, with the aim of providing young people with motivation, a sense of purpose, the skills to address barriers and issues that they encounter, and systems to support each other.

 

The ‘Youth Empowerment Worker’; will lead and manage delivery of the project and will be supported in the delivery of the project by the ‘Youth Support Worker’.

The Youth Empowerment Worker will be experienced, skilled and passionate about working with young people, schools and communities to support learning and development; the successful candidate will be a self-starter with drive, commitment and passion.

 

All posts are fixed term contracts until 2022. One Youth Empowerment Worker will be based at Streetbeat premises and one at YEHA premises.
