Youth Education Co-ordinator

Can you inspire young people with an education that helps them cope in a crisis? In this highly exciting and rewarding role you will work with other professionals and volunteers to deliver creative and dynamic sessions that can really make a difference. We need an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is great with young people and can network, plan, deliver and bring people together to inspire each other.

As part of their day to day duties, the post-holder will be required to travel around the areas in Northern Ireland.

The British Red Cross are committed to safeguarding our work with children and young people. For roles where contact with young people will take place an enhanced DBS check will be required.

• Our new education strategy sees us targeting our work with adults and young people to build their resilience and capacity to cope in a crisis.
• Our new youth engagement strategy is focussed on young people having a voice in the organisation to help ensure that those who volunteer and work with us are safe, heard and developed and ensure an age appropriate response to the to the young people we support.

We want to hire great people who can help us provide our communities with the skills and resilience to cope with a crisis.
