Youth Development Workers

Springboard has been operating over 25 years creating and delivering innovative programmes that build good relations/diversity, personal development & citizenship for young people.  We wish to invite applications for the following positions (2017-2021).  Please note posts are being advertised subject to receiving the necessary funding.

 YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKERS £25951

Full time (37.5 hours per week)

If successful, the Youth Development Workers will have primary responsibility for implementing programmes and supporting young people in groupwork and on a one to one basis in areas of good relations/diversity, personal development and citizenship. Key criteria include:

• Community Youth Work (or in a related field) degree holder OR working towards Community Youth Work (or in related field) degree plus 3 years’ experience of working with young people within 16-24 age range;

• 3 years’ experience in facilitating non-formal learning

• Experience of engagement, assessment, mentoring of young people.
