Springboard has been operating over 25 years creating and delivering innovative programmes that build good relations/diversity, personal development and citizenship for young people.  We wish to invite applications for :

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKERS

Salary £25951

37.5 hours / week

If successful, the Youth Development Worker will have primary responsibility for implementing programmes and supporting young people in groupwork and on a one to one basis, within areas of good relations/diversity, personal development and citizenship.  They will share Springboard's core values and work as part of a team.

Key criteria include:

- Community Youth Work  (or in a related field) degree holder or working towards Community Youth Work (or related field) degree plus 3 years' experience of working with young people within 16-24 age range;

- 3 years' experience in facilitating non-formal learning

- Experience of engagement, assessment, mentoring of young people
