Welfare Advice Officer

Based at: Radius Housing Association, Belfast, Holywood, Newry, Ballymena, Derry/Londonderry

Ref: WAO.HO.01

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £20,661 (pt22) to £27,669 (pt31) per annum

Essential Criteria:

• Relevant 3rd level qualification plus 1 year experience (in the last 6 years) delivering welfare benefits and money advice OR 3 year's experience delivering welfare benefits and money advice.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the social security and welfare system as well as demonstrable understanding of Welfare Reform, Universal Credit and mitigation schemes.
• Demonstrable experience in meeting deadlines and targets whilst managing a complex and varied workload.
• Valid driving licence with access to a vehicle to carry out the mobility aspect of the role.
