Vocational Support Worker

Vocational Support Worker  (Picture Framing) Stepping Stones NI's mission is to support people with a learning disability or a learning difficulty to realise their potential for a better future In order to help achieve their mission Stepping Stones NI is currently looking for a Vocational Support Worker to join their team.

The Vocational Support Worker will be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the picture framing workshop, giving support to people with learning disabilities/difficulties in order to advance their work skills.

Essential criteria

• Ability to display an understanding and knowledge of how to support people with learning disabilities in a work setting.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.

Desirable criteria

• Experience of working in a retail environment.
• Previous picture framing experience.

Hours: 30 hours (additional hours may be required at times).

Wage:  £7.50 per hour.
