WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO PEOPLE HARMED BY CRIME?

Victim Support NI is a voluntary organisation helping people affected by crime. It provides a free and confidential service and Victim Support NI offers help to over 55,000 people yearly.

Board Members

The role of the Board Members is to contribute to the effective governance of Victim Support NI in promoting its aims/objectives. Victim Support NI is seeking to recruit three new voluntary members to its Board of Trustees. We are looking for individuals with a background in the private, public or voluntary sectors with a range of skills and experience, but particularly in the following areas: Public Relations, Fundraising, Business Development, IT or Social Care. Further information on the work of Victim Support NI can be found on our website at www.victimsupportni.org.uk

Service Volunteers

Currently we require more volunteers across Northern Ireland to provide support to people in court and in the local community. We offer excellent accredited training and development opportunities for volunteers equipping them with knowledge and skills to deliver a first class support service to victims. As well as being great experience, it’s also a fantastic way to work as part of a caring and compassionate team while helping people in your local community.

While positions are unremunerated, out-of-pocket expenses will be paid.

Victim Support NI respects and promotes equal opportunity and positively welcomes applications from all groups. We particularly welcome applicants from ethnic minority backgrounds.

For further information on the necessary qualities and experience for all of the above roles as well as application packs, please contact us or visit the website: www.victimsupportni.co.uk
