Training & Development Youth Worker

The successful applicant will deliver and assist in the co-ordination of a suite of accredited and non-accredited community relations, good relations, active citizenship and youth work programmes for young people, young adults and youth workers and will work in partnership with church and community youth groups within urban and rural socio-economically disadvantaged and / or interface areas.

Essential criteria include:

• Level 6 Qualification in Community Youth Work (JNC)
• At least one year’s experience in the planning and delivery of training programmes in good relations and youth work within the youth sector
• Experience of tutoring / assessing candidates on OCN NI Youth Work / CRED accredited programmes for young people and/or volunteer youth workers
• Knowledge and understanding of youth work within the member Churches of Youth Link
• In agreement with the ethos and values of Youth Link: NI; commitment to working in a community relations context in an interface setting and commitment to working within a faith context
