Temporary Employment Officer (Maternity cover contract for up to 1 year) – Ref 8106

This rewarding role of Employment Officer will see you developing careers for people with sight loss. It involves working with blind and partially sighted people on a range of employment programmes such as Work Connect and Workable NI. To excel, you’ll need training and advice-giving experience in an employment setting.

You will have experience of providing advice and guidance in a career or employment setting, along with knowledge of the needs of blind and partially sighted people in the working age range. Targets are set within the programmes for income and getting blind and partially sighted people into jobs, so this role requires at least two years proven experience in a work programmes environment.
